As Christians, our mission is to cultivate good within ourselves and do good work. In the doing, we are also made better bit by bit.
That we would be transformed through the renewal of our minds, which only come by the word of truth. May we always be open to the truth of God.
How do the unbelieving Jews of Paul’s era and even today fit in the larger plan of God? Romans 11 shows us that they have hope, but only in belief in Christ Jesus.

God has always said by what standard the called will be elected. Much how a boss puts out a want ad to hire someone, the standard is set out. In this way, the elected are predestined. The individual is not predestined per se, rather the ones who will come up to the standard that was predestined.

God has pulled out all the stops to get us a route home to Him. He sent His Son to pay the price for our sins. He has revealed His will through the Spirit manifested in the Word of God. He has given us a portion of the Spirit to dwell within us, and the Spirit likewise intercedes on our behalf. What barriers still stand in our way? Only we can choose to be overcome, but with God for us who can truly stand against us in the end?
